It has been a great start to the year with many highlights including a fantastic day at the Regional Athlete Workshop in Wembley and winning the Crawley Athletics Club Junior of the Year 2010.
On the track, my season ended with selection to represent England in Sheffield, my first indoor international as an Under 23 athlete. It was a great 2 days with 4 PB's in 60m hurdles, Shot Putt and running the final 1,000m in 2:37.31, but my highlight was jumping over 2 meters in high jump (2.01m). I finished with a points total of 5180 ranking me 4th in the UK. It was a hard indoor season which included training with top jump athletes in Hungary, competing in Slovakia (pb in the 200m) and competing for England. My legs have suffered due to the hard indoor surface but Greg ( I am now looking forward to three weeks hard warm weather training in Spain ready for my first outdoor decathlon competition in Woodford Green in May. I hope Chris, Jono and Steph enjoy their first training session under the sun in Spain!
